Pictures of the latest DIY Wind Turbine Course near Vienna 2015

It’s fall 2015 and yet another PureSelfMade wind turbine course has been held!
A good crew of about 7 guys has learned how we build a small wind turbine do it yourself style – but in a very
professional way! We choose the “2F” turbine design by Hugh Piggott wich I have also used in other courses before.

This time, I did something new. I split the course into two parts wich took place on two following weekends.
That worked very well. People did not have to take vacation from their jobs for participating. This makes it easier to find time compared to the usual one week long course. We finished the turbine right on time and could also install it during the course. Unfortunately, there was no wind when we came to testing, but that seems to be a normal thing. 😉

I’ve put together a selection of pictures from the course, all with some description!

I started PureSelfMade in 2013 to develop and spread practical knowledge on homebuilt small wind turbines, independent energy systems, off-grid lifestyle and more. In my hands-on workshop courses I teach simple and effective solutions for those subjects and share my enthusiasm with like minded people. Read about my background.
